New Site, New Start

This is my first official blog post! EXCITING TIMES!

Is it really? - probably not.

I'm going to try and make some weekly blog posts about what i've been upto over the previous week when it comes to my homelab and self-hosting escapades.

I have some new indoor wifi IP cameras which I want to talk about. They were uber cheap and having used them for only a couple of days, they seem pretty decent.

I also have major plans for revamping my homelab setup but I have been saying this for the best part of a year now. Life just gets in the way I suppose. This will mean either a new house or a big extention to the house we already have. When I say "we" I mean me, my other half and my 3 kids. It really seems like we are living in a shoebox at times.

As and when this happens, i'll be taking some pictures (may even record some video of me pretending to know what i'm doing in rebuilding and setting things up) and i'll certainly be writing about it all as it happens.
