Why hello there!

Hello peeps, thanks for stopping by. My name is Alex and i'm pretty passionate about all things tech.

I work in DevOps and I am currently a "Junior Platform Engineer" working with infrastructure in the cloud (Predominantly AWS). Before this role, I have worked for a number of years in IT and am mostly self-taught. As a result I have made many mistakes in my IT journey and i'm likely to make many more but this is what makes this (for me at least) a lot of fun!

At home, which is what this blog (and docs site) is all about, I like to self host a few things on my own infrastructure and using Docker. I just love Docker.

In my head, I have grand plans for the future of my site(s), my infrastructure at home and would love it if people came along for the ride.
